Concrete & Hardscaping
Patios & Sidewalks
Patios and walkways formed, sloped and jointed so they drain and stay level underfoot.
A patio is judged by three things: how it drains, how the joints line up, and how it meets the grass or the house. Elevations come first — the patio has to fall away from the foundation, and the walkway has to stay walkable in the rain.
Finish and layout are chosen together: broom, exposed aggregate, stamped or a plain burnished surface, with a joint pattern that reads intentional instead of accidental. Lights, outlets and irrigation that cross the slab are placed before the pour, not chased afterwards.
Questions we get about patios & sidewalks
How thick should a patio be?
Thickness follows the use: foot traffic and furniture are not the same as a hot tub or a vehicle. It is decided together with the base and written into the scope.
Can you match concrete I already have?
Finish and color can be matched closely, though not always exactly. Where an exact match is unlikely we plan a clean line between old and new.
Do you add a border?
A border is part of the layout rather than a decoration: it also carries the joint pattern around the edge of the slab.
How do I get a quote?
Send the details through the contact form or call +1 (470) 559-6251. Tell us the address, what you want done and any photos you already have. We review the job, ask whatever is missing and send a written estimate.
