Concrete & Hardscaping

Concrete Driveways

Driveways with the base, the thickness and the joints planned for the soil and the loads they will carry.

A driveway crack is usually decided before the concrete is poured: a base that was soft or poorly compacted, no reinforcement where it belongs, or joint spacing that lets a slab pull itself apart. We look at the soil, the fall for drainage and what actually drives on it, then set the base, the thickness and the layout.

Drainage matters as much as strength. The slab falls away from the garage and the house, water is kept off the rest of the property, and control joints are cut where the slab will move instead of where it is convenient.

Questions we get about concrete driveways

Do you remove the old driveway?

Yes. Demolition and haul-away are part of the job, and the base underneath is checked before the new slab goes down.

When can I drive on it?

Curing depends on the weather and the thickness. We give you the window in writing, including when heavier loads can use it.

Rebar or mesh?

Both are options and it depends on the span, the loads and the base. It is specified in the estimate so quotes can be compared on the same terms.

How do I get a quote?

Send the details through the contact form or call +1 (470) 559-6251. Tell us the address, what you want done and any photos you already have. We review the job, ask whatever is missing and send a written estimate.
