Concrete Repair

Cracked, spalled and settled concrete repaired by understanding why it failed in the first place.

Concrete repair only lasts when the cause is addressed. A crack from a missing control joint behaves differently from one caused by a soft spot under the slab, and flaking is usually reinforcement sitting too close to the surface with water getting in.

We look at the drainage, the joints, the base and the depth of the damage, then choose the repair that fits: cleaning and sealing a crack that still moves, patching spalled areas with a matching material, or removing and replacing a section of slab.

Questions we get about concrete repair

Can cracks be sealed?

Cracks that still move are sealed with a flexible material; cracks that have finished moving can be filled. Which one yours is depends on why it opened.

Why is my concrete flaking?

Usually reinforcement too close to the surface, water getting in and freezing, or a finish applied too early. It is repaired by taking off the loose material and rebuilding the surface.

Is a settled slab worth fixing?

If the base under it failed, patching the surface will not hold. In that case replacing the section is the honest answer.
