Permit-Ready Plans
Drawing sets prepared against the local checklist, so comments are about the project and not the paperwork.
Permit drawings are read by a plan reviewer against a published checklist: sheet order, scale, structural notes, energy and life-safety items, and the details specific to that type of work. We draw to the checklist of the jurisdiction the project is in.
Most permit delays come from missing information rather than from the project itself, so the set is assembled with the documents the department asks for, and a record is kept of what was submitted and when.
Questions we get about permit-ready plans
Do you submit the permit?
We can prepare and submit it, or hand over a complete set for the owner or contractor to file. It depends on who is pulling the permit.
Who signs the drawings?
The licensed professional the jurisdiction requires for that scope of work. We coordinate with them and incorporate their comments into the set.
What if the reviewer asks for changes?
Review comments are normal. They are answered with revised sheets, and a revision log keeps track of what changed and why.
How do I get a quote?
Send the details through the contact form or call +1 (470) 559-6251. Tell us the address, what you want done and any photos you already have. We review the job, ask whatever is missing and send a written estimate.
