Mockups
A still image of the proposed result, so the finish decisions are made before the materials are ordered.
A mockup shows what a finish looks like in place: the cabinet color against the floor, the tile band against the paint, the counter against the backsplash. It is the view that answers the question everyone has while standing in a showroom.
It is built from real measured dimensions with the materials you are considering placed in them. If a combination looks wrong, it looks wrong in the mockup — not after it is installed and paid for.
Questions we get about mockups
Can you change the colors?
Yes, and that is the point of a mockup. Each revision is a new image, so how many are included is agreed before we start.
Is it a photo of my house?
It shows your space and your proportions with the proposed finishes. Where a material sample exists it is used, so the color is not a guess.
When should I ask for one?
Before the materials are ordered, which is normally right after the layout has been settled.
