Floor Replacement
Tear out, subfloor repair and a new floor that is level at every transition.
Replacement is the answer when the floor itself is the problem — soft spots from water, squeaks from a loose subfloor, tile that has delaminated, carpet that no longer belongs in the room. Everything comes out, what is underneath gets looked at, and the substrate is repaired before the new floor starts.
The new floor has to meet the doors, the stairs and the cabinets at the right height, so thickness and underlayment are chosen together and the transitions are planned instead of improvised on the last day.
Questions we get about floor replacement
What if you find water damage?
You see it when the floor comes up. If the subfloor is soft we show you the photographs and price the repair before it is covered again.
One room, or the whole floor?
One room is fine when there is a natural break at a doorway. The new floor is matched in height so the threshold does not become a trip hazard.
Do you haul away the old floor?
Yes. Removal and disposal are part of the job and are listed in the estimate.
How do I get a quote?
Send the details through the contact form or call +1 (470) 559-6251. Tell us the address, what you want done and any photos you already have. We review the job, ask whatever is missing and send a written estimate.
